Women's Bowling places 8th at the C300 Western Shootout

(Indianapolis, IN) - The season continued for the Concordia Cardinals Women's Bowling team with a top-10 finish at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout in Indiana. The Cardinals would wind up placing 8th as they knocked down a total of 8,778 pins throughout the six-team games and 16 baker games. 

 

CARDINALS RESULTS

Gabriella VanHorn was the 10th-place finisher for the Cardinals after bowling a score of 1,226 throughout her six games while recording a high game of 246. Ryan Giese wound up 11 spots back of VanHorn with her top finish of the season after knocking down a total of 1,175 pins and bowling a high game of 267. Emilee Hughes and Kyla Peterson finished with the same score as they both shot a 1,067. Hughes and Peterson would bowl high games of 223 and 208 respectively. 

 

Amanda Fisher would bowl in five games for the Cardinals with a score of 871 and an average of 174.2. The final bowler for CUAA was Megan Redman with a score of 172. 

 

TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL WINNER

The top team was Midway University as they finished all of the games with a score of 9,328 pins. 

 

Morgan Nunn from Indiana Tech was the top finisher at the event with an average of 231.3 and a total score of 1,388 pins. 

 

UP NEXT

The team will have this weekend off before competing at the American Heartland Tournament at the Super Bowl in Canton, Michigan on Sunday, October 29.
