Gabriella VanHorn earns her first WHAC Bowler of the Week of the season

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced their Player of the Week winner for Women's Bowling on Monday afternoon and Concordia Cardinals Gabriella VanHorn took home his first honors of the season. 

 

VanHorn, a senior from Holt, Michigan, helped the Cardinals to a top-10 finish at the C300 Western Shootout as the team would place eighth. VanHorn herself would take home a 10th-place finish after knocking down a total of 1,226 pins at the tournament. 246 was the highest score VanHorn would shoot throughout her six games as she also averaged 204.3 pins per game. She is averaging 195.27 pins per game this season through her 15 games bowled. 

 

This is the fifth time she has taken home the honor after winning the award four times last season. 

 

The Cardinal Bowling team will head back to the Lanes on Sunday, October 29 when they compete at the American Heartland Tournament at the Super Bowl in Canton, Michigan.
