(Ann Arbor, MI) - With the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Championships occurring this weekend, Concordia Cardinals track and field athlete Lena Korte will be making her second straight appearance at the indoor national meet, when she competes on Saturday.
KORTE'S NUMBERS
Korte once again reset the record books this indoor season for the shot put event as she enters the event with the 7th-best throw in the country at 14.43 meters, which she threw at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Championships in mid-February.
She first hit the NAIA "A" standard back at the first meet of the year, the Oiler Opener & Multi with a toss of 14.41 meters.
REST OF THE FIELD
The top spot is held by Princess Kara from Indiana Wesleyan who has a throw of 15.23 meters.
