(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced their weekly Bowlers of the Week for this past week and Concordia Cardinals women's bowler Bailey VanMeter earned the honor after her efforts at the Leatherneck Classic.
VanMeter, a sophomore from Wapakoneta, Ohio, placed 11th at the Leatherneck Classic this weekend. She would knock down a total of 1004 total pins while averaging 200.8 pins per game. VanMeter recorded a high game of 213 as she aided the Cardinals to place second at the tournament.
VanMeter joins a trio of Cardinals who have earned WHAC Bowler of the Week honors this season as MacKenzie Morgan, Emily Morris, and Arielle Oakley have earned the honor.
The Cardinals will have a couple of weeks off before competing at the third WHAC Jamboree of the season which will be held at the 5 Star Lanes in Sterling Heights, Michigan on December 7.
