(Allen Park, MI) – The Concordia Cardinal Women's Bowling team was in action on Saturday at the Detroit Open, which was the final Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) tournament of the regular season. The event featured teams bowl in three team games followed by 15 baker games.
The Cardinals finished the tournament only 24 pins behind first-place Trine, scoring 5,509 pins. The Cardinals claimed their second-ever WHAC regular season title, first since 2016.

CUAA RESULTS
The Cardinals had three bowlers place in the top-20 as they were headed by Arielle Oakley who placed second with a pin total of 595. Next up was Brooke Binder who was 12th with a pin fall of 563 pins. Both Oakley and Binder's high games were 203.
Emilee Hughes and Emily Morris finished back-to-back and were one pin apart from each other. Hughes scored a 544 while Morris tallied a 543, as they had high games of 187 and 209 respectively. Amanda Fisher was the final bowler to bowl in the three team games with a 502 score and a 200 high game.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Haley Tobiasz from St. Francis (IL) was the top bowler for the tournament as she recorded a score of 611 with a 222 high game.
Trine would also take the team title with a total score of 5,533 pins.

The Cardinals head to the Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 15 and 16 at the Western Bowl.
