Women's Bowling finishes runner-up at WHAC Event

(Sterling Heights, MI) – The Concordia Cardinals Women's Bowling team competed at the third Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) event of the season. The event featured three team games followed by four sets of baker games.

 

The Cardinals finished the event in second place with a total score of 6,191 total pins. 

 

CUAA RESULTS

Emilee Hughes was the top finisher for CUAA as she posted a score of 685 tied for second place, her high game was 256. MacKenzie Morgan was next up for CUAA in 11th place after recording a score of 614 and a high game of 224. Brooke Binder and Bailey Van Meter were the next two Cardinals with scores of 569 and 556 respectively. 

 

Amanda Fisher bowled a pair of games for CUAA with a score of 450 as she tallied a high game of 279. The final game was bowled by Ryan Giese with a score of 155. 

 

TOURNAMENT RESULTS

Jillian Treska from Indiana Tech was the top individual as she posted a score of 700 and averaged 233.3 pins per game. 

 

Indiana Tech edged out the Cardinals by nine pins with a total score of 6,200 pins. 

 

UP NEXT

The Cardinals will be back in action when they travel out to Las Vegas for a pair of tournaments on December 18-19 (Glenn Carlson Invitational) and December 20-21 (Collegiate Shootout).
