(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced their weekly Bowlers of the Week for this past week and Concordia Cardinals women's bowler Brooke Binder earned the honor after her efforts in the team top-5 finishes at both the Glenn Carlson Invite and the Collegiate Shootout.
Binder, a junior from Bay City, Michigan, earns her second career WHAC Bowler of the Week honor after averaging 201.84 pins over her 13 games bowled. Binder placed 16th at the Glenn Carlson Invitational where she knocked down 1,645 pins before hitting 979 pins at the Collegiate Shoot-Out and earning 22nd place.
Binder joins four Cardinals who have earned WHAC Bowler of the Week honors this season as Bailey VanMeter, MacKenzie Morgan, Emily Morris, and Arielle Oakley have earned the honor.
The Cardinals will next hit the lanes on January 11 when they compete at the fifth American Heartland Tournament at the Spins Bowl in Waterford Township, Michigan.
