Cardinals announce Autumn Moore as new Head Coach of Women's Lacrosse

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Concordia University Athletic Department has announced that Autumn Moore has been announced as the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach. Moore began her duties on January 31.

Autumn Moore comes to Concordia after being the head coach at her high school alma mater Tecumseh High School. She also has experience coaching in the WHAC with two different teams as she was an assistant coach with Siena Heights and Lourdes from 2014-2016.

"Autumn brings both WHAC playing experience and coaching experience to her role here as the head of our women's lacrosse program," said Concordia Athletic Director Lonnie Pries. "Her competitiveness and experience will be very valuable as she works to provide a great experience for our student-athletes."

Moore is a 2014 graduate of Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, IN where she played lacrosse all four years. She has the second-most goals in Indiana Tech history, behind a former teammate, with 233 goals. She is a two-time first-team honoree by the WHAC. In her senior season at Tecumseh, she set a national record for goals in a season.

Moore expressed how becoming a head coach in collegiate lacrosse was like a dream for her. "Being able to grow this team is something I'm very excited about. I'm grateful for the opportunity that Lonnie Pries and Concordia have given me and I'm excited to build on the success this program has already achieved."
