Men's Lacrosse's Bowling repeats as WHAC Defensive Player of the Week

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced their player of the week honors on Monday afternoon and Concordia Cardinals Men's Lacrosse goalie, Sam Bowling repeated as WHAC defensive player of the week following the 7-6 loss against #3 Cumberlands. 

 

Bowling, a junior from Canton, Michigan, took home his second straight defensive player of the week honors after posting a 20 save performance against the #3 Cumberlands last Saturday. On the game he had a 74.1% save percentage over the 27 shots he faced. 

 

With this being Bowling's second honor he is joined by Evan Stuart who won offensive player of the week honors earlier this season. 

 

The Cardinals will play their third straight game at home to open the season as they take on Midland University on Saturday, March 4 with face-off at 1 PM.
