In Case You Missed It (Previous Matchups)

These three teams all played each other two times throughout the year. The Cardinals would go 1-3 in their four games against each of these other teams.

In the Indiana Tech series, the Cards would pick up the crucial 6-5 comeback win, as they would score five runs in the sixth inning to come back from a 5-1 deficit. CUAA took advantage of several miscues by the Warriors to score in that sixth inning. The second game of the series saw IIT pulling out a 5-3 win, as took the lead in the third inning and never looked back.

The UNOH series would see the Cardinals drop both games of the series as that would be a turning point for the CUAA season. UNOH pulled out a 10-3 win in game one before a high-scoring game two, which saw the final score being 16-15. The Racers and Cards would go back and forth all game as CUAA pulled within three runs in the eighth and then narrowly pulled off a ninth-inning come back off of a Kyle Hebner pitch-hit three-run home run before falling by one run.

From that series on the Cardinals would 8-3 in the conference in order to make a playoff push.
