Drew Fleming dubbed NAIA First Team All-American

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced their All-America teams for the 2024 season on Thursday afternoon. Concordia Cardinals senior Drew Fleming was honored by making the All-American First Team as an infielder.

 

FIRST TEAM

DREW FLEMING | SR | DAVISON, MICHIGAN

Fleming is the first Cardinal in program history to be named to the NAIA First Team All-American list. The Cardinal first baseman was top-10 in multiple categories across the NAIA, highlighted by having the highest slugging percentage in the country at .990 and the second most home runs with 29. The Davison native was 5th in extra base hits (47) and 10th in on base percentage (.537) as well. Fleming also finished in the top-25 in RBI (76) and batting average (.427) to cap off his All-American campaign. 



Drew is the first Cardinal Baseball player to be named to a NAIA All-American team twice as he is also joined by Tyson Kleinfelter (Second Team - 2023), Steve Hardin (Honorable Mention - 2005), Blaine Milheim (Honorable Mention - 2019), Jake Pawlak (Honorable Mention - 2003) and Grant Steinborn (Honorable Mention - 2019) as fellow NAIA All-Americans.
