(Ann Arbor, MI) The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced their regional women's basketball awards and two Concordia Cardinals were recognized with All-Region honors. Abby Long was named to the NCCAA D1 Midwest First Team All-Regional Team while Lauren Borsenik was given Honorable Mention.
First Team All-Region
ABBY LONG | SR | PORTAGE, MI
Abby Long was the Cardinal's leading scorer this past season with 14.8 points per game. She had an 84.5 free throw percentage and distributed the ball well with 4.1 assists per game, both of which were 7th best in the NCCAA. The Cardinal point guard finished with an assist/turnover ratio of 1.3, which was 14th in the NCCAA. This is Long's second consecutive appearance on the All-Region First team.

LAUREN BORSENIK | FR | HEMLOCK, MI
Lauren Borsenik was the Cardinal's second highest scorer this past season with 13.5 points a game while pulling down 6.1 rebounds per game as well. Defensively, Borsenik led the team with 10 blocks while also creating 17 steals in her freshman campaign.
