(Redford, MI) - Concordia men's hockey wrapped up their weekend series with a contest at Lawrence Tech. The Cardinals kept the game close with a 3-3 tie after the second period, but the Blue Devils pulled away in the third for a 10-3 win.
Connor Carroll played a full game in net with 43 saves. Lawrence Tech scored the first two goals of the contest. The Cardinals got on the board when Marek Drennan scored off an assist from Nicholas Twombley. CUAA trailed 2-1 after the first period.
Lawrence Tech tacked on another goal midway through the second period. The Cardinals began to rally when McCarthy Clark tallied less than a minute later with Ross Eaton assisting. Joseph Lajcaj then tied the game with Ethan Lindle drawing the helper. The contest was tied 3-3 after two periods.
Lawrence Tech began to pull away in the third period. CUAA fell by a final score of 10-3.
Concordia will host University of Michigan-Dearborn this Friday, October 18th, at 9:30pm at the Arctic Edge in Canton, MI.
