Men's Hockey downed 4-1 at #13 Indiana Tech
 
 

(Fort Wayne, IN) - Concordia men's hockey traveled to #13 Indiana Tech on Friday evening to begin a weekend series.  The Cardinals fought hard looking to pull the upset but fell 4-1. 

 

Connor Carroll played the full game in net with 44 saves.  Indiana Tech scored first with a goal 1:28 into the game.  CUAA trailed 1-0 at the first intermission.   

 

Neither team scored in the second period.  The Cardinals killed off two penalties and still were only behind 1-0 after two periods of play. 

 

Indiana Tech pulled away with three goals in the third period.  CUAA got on the board with just under three minutes remaining when Nicholas Twombley scored with assists by Bryce Iott and Joseph Lajcaj. However, Indiana Tech claimed the 4-1 win as time expired. 

 

Concordia will host Indiana Tech tomorrow, November 9th, at 5pm at Arctic Edge in Canton Michigan to complete the weekend series.
