About the Blue Devils
The Blue Devils finished the regular season with a 21-10-0 overall record while compiling a 17-7-0 WHAC record. Lawrence Tech opened up their season by going 1-1 in their first non-conference series before WHAC play. The Blue Devils won their first four conference games before becoming a bit streaky in the fall. They then found their groove winning six straight games in December and January. The Blue Devils finished the regular season winning six of their last eight games, including taking down top ranked Indiana Tech in their final game.
On the offensive side, Lawrence Tech has five players with more than 20 points this season. That group is led by Thimo Ey with 10 goals and 19 assists. Jacques Lavrack follows closely with 9 goals and 18 assists of his own. Adrian Gonzalez-Martin and Lukas Robinson find themselves at 25 and 24 points, respectively. Rounding out that top five is the Blue Devils leading goal scorer, Kevin Bond, with 15 goals.
Brett Tome has logged a majority of the minutes between the pipes for Lawrence Tech this year, as he has compiled a total of 1427 minutes this year. He allows under 2.5 goals a game and has compiled 709 saves this year boasting a 92.4% save percentage.
About the Cardinals
The Cardinals finished the season with a 11-22-0 overall record while collecting an 6-18-0 conference record. Concordia opened up its season at 2-4 after non-conference battles with Oakland, Delaware, and Toledo. Their only conference wins in 2024 came after a sweep of Rochester Christian in November. The tides seemed to shift the Cardinals' way entering 2025, as a sweep of Rochester Christian in late January ignited the Cardinals to win six of their final eight games down the stretch. That includes a promising final weekend, where the Cardinals came back from down 6-1 against Aquinas in the final ten minutes to win in overtime combined with a dominating senior night win the next day.
On the offensive side, the Cardinals were led by five players with ten or more goals. Ethan Lindle had 15 goals on the year to go with his 15 assists to lead the Cardinals with 30 points. Kyle Hebner and Bryce Iott each added 13 goals for the Cardinals this season. Carson Ediger had 10 goals and an impressive 17 assists on the year as well. Kolton Horn also found the back of the net 11 times this season. The Cardinals were anchored down by senior defensemen Derek Hebner as he led the team with 18 assists on the year.
Five goalies took the net for the Cardinals this season, all seeing action in different games for the Cardinals. Nolan Foster leads the Cardinals with 681:06 minutes in net. Ryan Nickerson boasts the highest save percentage with a 93.9% along with allowing under three goals a game. Anthony Seykora has the most saves of them all in a Cardinal uniform as he currently sits at 1488 career saves.The balance of goalies has proven to work well for the Cardinals down the stretch.

The Blue Devils had the upper hand in the regular season meetings between the two sides as Concordia went 0-4 against Lawrence Tech on the year. All four games were played before the long holiday break.
The first two games were played in October, as CUAA fell by one before LTU was able to put up 10 goals in the following game.
They met again in early December, with the Cardinals once again falling 3-2 before the Blue Devils were able to put up 8 goals the following night.
