Men's Hockey falls to Cleary at home

(Canton, MI) - Concordia Men's Hockey was back in action tonight at home. They welcomed the Cougars of Cleary to town for the second time in two nights. The Cardinals played tough all night against the Cougars, but in the end fell 4-0.

Connor Carroll played all 60 minutes in the game, and he compiled an impressive 33 saves against the Cougars 37 shots on goal. The Cardinals started off the game with a strong defensive front, and the game went to the first intermission at 0-0.

The second period saw 17 saves from an impressive Carroll, as the Cougar attack came out of the locker room strong. Derek Hebner and Bryce Lott had some great defensive stops in the second period, but it was not enough to stop the three goals Cleary put up. The third period saw a lot of back and forth at mid ice, and only a power play goal from the Cougars made the final 4-0.

The Cardinals will be back in action Friday, November 1st, at home against Rochester Christian!
