Sherman named WHAC Player of the Week

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced their weekly Player of the Week honors and Cardinal Jordan Sherman earned the honors this week following a 16-hit performance. 

 

Sherman, a senior from Homer, Michigan, his hot hitting on the week as he helped the Cardinals continue their winning ways to a 6-0 record. Sherman hit .552 on the week as well as adding seven doubles to his tally. He brought in a team-high 12 runs while extending his hitting streak to 26 games.

 

Sherman joins Tyson Kleeinfelter and Drew Fleming who have previously been named WHAC Player of the Week honorees this season.  

 

Sherman and the rest of the baseball team will head to Grand Rapids tomorrow, April 25, as they take on the Golden Eagles of Cornerstone for a WHAC doubleheader which will begin at 1 PM.
